PLANT POLICIES

Driving in the Plant

All visitors must first check into the plant by visiting our office. When driving in the plant, all vehicles must travel under the speed limit of 10 mph. If driving in the dark, all vehicles must have headlights on and take proper precautions. Driver’s are not allowed outside of their vehicles while in the plant.

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal protective equipment including a hard hat and relective, high visibility clothing must be worn at all times when in the plant.

Communication

Butte Sand and Gravel utilizes CB radios for communication between loaders, trucks and our scale house. All trucks are required to have a functioning CB radio.

Picking Up Material

CHECK IN PROCEDURE

To pickup material yourself please circle our office building and pull onto the scale closest to our office building. Once checked in, we will direct you to the material of your choice.

FEES AND MINIMUMS

An $8.50 environmental fee applies (before tax) to all loads picked up at Butte Sand and Gravel.

Butte Sand and Gravel enforces a $75.00 minimum charge for all loads picked up from Butte Sand and Gravel

If you choose to pay using a credit card, a 3% credit card fee fee will apply.
